Senior Project Manager

Duties & Responsibilities

We are looking for an experienced Project Manager to join our team.

Our Project Managers are responsible for the comprehensive development of proposals and the execution of projects from award through completion and start-up.

This includes being the main point of contact for client and internal department communications, establishing and maintaining project schedules, coordinating and directing project teams, as well as, coordinating and controlling all required project management systems.

We ask our Project Managers to ensure the company meets or exceeds the safety, quality, schedule, and budget goals for each project.

Our Project Managers for EPC contracts report directly to our Manager of Process and Mechanical Engineering.

Technical Capabilities for this role include:

• Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of the flow and logistics needed for the execution of EPC projects.
• Possess an understanding and use of project control systems including:
  • Project cost and budget reporting
  • Forecast to completion projections
  • Project scheduling tools including critical path identification and management
  • Project document control and management
• Ability to understand and communicate technical subject matter efficiently and effectively with project team, sub-contractors, and clients

Skills Required

Qualifications for a successful candidate in this role include:

• Bachelor of Science degree in engineering or related technical or management discipline.
• 10 years of experience as a Project Engineer / Project Manager or similar position in energy, chemical, or manufacturing industries with Engineering, Procurement, Fabrication or Construction projects
• Working knowledge of Industry Codes and Standards of Practice
• Proficient with MS Project
• Strong written and oral communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment
