Our client awarded PTI the contract to provide the detailed design, control system integration, commissioning, and start-up support services for this adhesive manufacturing unit in the southern United States.
Our client provided the critical process vessels and unique know-how for their product. PTI stepped in to design the facility around their core technology, including the power distribution and electrical motor control center, the process and safety control systems, as well as all mechanical and piping design for the process and utility support systems, including the plant’s boiler, chillers, nitrogen, and vacuum systems.
The engineering team at Principal Technology is experienced with NEC, ASME, NFPA, CGA, and other industrial standards. Our team provides an independent evaluation of industrial hazards. Our portfolio includes arc flash hazards and power system studies, hazardous location evaluation for electrical systems, and equipment over-pressure protection.
We were awarded the contract to evaluate this client’s wastewater treatment operation to determine if the aqueous ammonia and other chemicals used on-site created a flammability hazard. Our engineers completed the evaluation using the applicable NFPA and NEC standards and provided recommendations for their facility.
