Over the past 25 years, the PTI team has shared exciting opportunities to work on new and developing technologies. Just a few of our projects include used lube oil recycling; renewable natural gas treating and conditioning; renewable gas and natural fertilizer generated from anaerobic digestion; controlled environment vertical farming; carbon recovery and capture from flue gas streams; advanced technology development and testing for flue gas scrubbing to capture CO2 and convert target pollutant constituents to fertilizer and other marketable product streams.

Our international customer awarded PTI this project to provide engineering and design consulting services for the electrical power and control systems for their modular anaerobic digestion system sold to multiple customers in the United States. PTI was also awarded the design-build contract for the digestate dewatering module required to package the spent biowaste into valuable natural fertilizer mulch.
The PTI engineering team is excited about the work we are contributing to this developing industry. This customer’s competitive advantage is to provide modular growing systems suitable for individual and small production applications. Our challenge is to maximize the farm’s production capacity in the small footprint of a shippable module.
Our client approached us with the challenge to reduce their municipal water costs at their machine wash facility by reclaiming spent wash water, treating, and reusing it in another part of their process. The current technology for direct recycling and filtration systems suffers from maintenance headaches and excessive odor problems and is not an option.
After completing the design and reviewing the 3D Model with our client, we fabricated the initial prototype in our Plano, Texas facility. With the system in our shop, our engineers and shop personnel completed an initial function test and performance run before shipping the unit to our client’s facility.
