Foxboro Distributed IO e-House
Principal Technology designed and built this Foxboro Distributed IO system integrated into a purged and pressurized e-House for a process plant in the northwestern US. The purged and pressurized control building allowed us to consolidate the separate process control and safety systems into a single climate-controlled building designed for the harsh winter conditions experienced at the plant.
Principal Technology provided this Schneider Modicon PAC with Remote IO for an LNG facility in the US. Our engineers also provided on-site support for commissioning loop tests and site acceptance function tests (SAT) for this project.

Our experience includes numerous safety and high availability process control systems, including redundant processors and power supplies, distributed remote IO over redundant star, device-level ring, and other fault-tolerant IO networks for both traditional IO and field communications protocols.

Our engineers, designers, and panel builders built this Triconex safety system for an Oxygen Enrichment unit at a major US Refinery. PTI built and tested the system in our Plano, Texas facility and then shipped it to the field where our customer’s in-house control engineers programmed the system to integrate with their existing distributed control architecture. PTI engineers were on-site for commissioning and start-up.
